We all want to feel happy and free in our bodies, but do you truly possess what it takes to succeed in cycle syncing and balance your hormones?

Most women are lead into feeling trapped within their bodies based on the foods they eat, lack of or too much exercise, and leading a life that isn't aligned with their monthly shifts.

People start out with good intentions - they just don't always follow through. Katie Morton wrote a novel called "Secrets of Successful People", and offers two pieces of great advice:

1. Drop the excuses, and do what you know you should.

2. Prioritize what matters most; do the most important thing first.

To succeed with cycle syncing, you need to possess these five traits:

1. SELF AWARENESS

You won’t get anywhere if you don't know yourself.

This goes into the health of your cycle:

  • how long does it last and what symptoms do you feel in each phase?

  • what foods feel best to you... or not?

  • do you listen to your body?

  • are you silencing yourself?

  • how do you break yourself out of a rut - in life and fitness?

  • what are your emotions during each phase? How do you deal with them?

Only you will be able to answer these questions. It's not like you can look at your neighbors paper for insight. You are in the drivers seat of your life, and this includes how you feel within yourself. The more you know yourself, the more free you'll feel throughout the month.

2. PERSEVERANCE

You can’t ever settle for good enough. If you do, then you’ll likely keep dealing with PMS and all the other hormone issues women put up with.

I finally got to a breaking point where I just knew there was a better way to live. I remember getting into a fight one night with Tyler (about nothing) and knew I needed to educate myself on how to deal with these symptoms. It took much perseverance to be able to get to the other side. Without that determination, I wouldn't have been able to do it.

Don’t give up.

Don’t take no as the answer.

And know that inner knowing within you is always right.

3. FAITH

Whether you believe in God, the Universe, or some higher power, having faith will guide your energy to a more positive light.

There is a peace and calm that washes over your body when you can accept the situations you cannot change.

For example, instead of running yourself into the ground trying to please others, stop and pay attention to the resistance of the situation. Things may not work in your favor because something way better is meant to.

If you were to let go and release your expectations, having faith that it will all work out in the end, how would this change your life?

4. KINDNESS

You’re already a kind person - to everyone else - but how do you talk to yourself?

If you beat yourself up over food cravings or low energy, you tell your body you’re not good enough. This negative energy breeds more of it, creating more of what you don’t want!

Being kind to yourself is one of the traits that will greatly determine whether you will succeed in life or not, and this translates to your hormones.

You must be kind to yourself in order to succeed.

Be the woman who shows herself compassion. You'll be amazed at how it transforms you and how other people respond to you.

5. INTERNAL MOTIVATION

What excites you to get out of bed in the morning? What drives you through the day? Why do you do what you do?

We can all be blinded by making a lot of money and keeping up appearances, but if these are your main motivations, they can impact your health. Using your internal motivation, based on your top priorities, will guide you to make choices that are right for you.

Maybe this is switching to nondairy milk since you've noticed breakouts with conventional dairy. Maybe it's going to a new workout class by yourself. Or maybe, it's saying yes to a long awaited dream you know has been waiting for you.

Life is a mixture of emotions.

Keep moving toward what feels good. You’ll bring a grounding energy to your body and experience more resilience in the face of stress and adversity. All while balancing those hormies 🤗

By embodying these five traits, giirrrllll you'll be unstoppable!
