One of my favorite flavor combinations is honey and figs. It's this subtle sweet concoction that makes your mouth and belly smile at the same time. My new honey fig yogurt parfait is the perfect ovulation phase recipe to add to your monthly cycle rotation!

Be honest: how tired are you of your usual snacks?

You might be like me and end up eating the same thing - all the time - which is why I love pairing different foods to my cycle phases. It opens you to eat different kinds of food each week. Which means you'll eat a wider range of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals your beautiful body needs.

What I love about this snack is the fiber punch you get from the figs and they aren't too sweet. Pair it with a full fat yogurt (my preference is coconut since I'm dairy free) and it will stabilize your blood sugar, smooth out irritability, and improve ovulation function. These are prime ingredients you need for a happy period and to increase your fertility.

Raw honey is always one of my sweeteners of choice because it contains natural digestive enzymes and acts like an antifungal in your body. This means the raw honey helps you do a clean internal sweep of toxins and bad bacteria. You're left with just the good stuff like phytonurtients and antioxidants, improving your skin, hair, and digestive health.

Let's make the parfait!


  • 1/2 cup coconut or Greek yogurt (unsweetened)

  • 3 sliced figs

  • 1 tbsp. almonds

  • 1 tsp. raw honey

  • cinnamon to taste


  1. In a mixing bowl, gently spoon together the yogurt and cinnamon.

  2. In a glass, transfer yogurt mixture and top with figs, almonds, and a drizzle of raw honey*

  3. Add an extra dash of cinnamon.

  4. Enjoy!

*if the raw honey is solid, lightly microwave for a few seconds, then drizzle.
