Here's what happens with PMDD - the symptoms you feel before your period are intensified where they can greatly disrupt your life.


Your moods and emotions become harder to control. And you may find you slip into a depressed state for a few days before the start of your period (this happened to me for exactly 3 days).


Here's what you do know and why there's a mental struggle:

  • you're not actually depressed.

  • you should have more control over your emotions.

  • you should have the energy to get yourself to work and complete projects

But you just can't. Something feels off and just "not quite right".


It's like your mind and body went on vacation and left you to pick up the pieces.


What PMDD really feels like is you are out of control of your body and emotions.


You don't feel like yourself and the intensity of what you're feeling gets in the way of your work, relationships, and self-esteem.


That's why I created my new PMDD Program!

My Story with PMDD


Over four years ago, I realized I was not just struggling with PMS. I kept coming up with the thought that something was wrong internally. I still remember sitting Tyler down (we had recently moved in together) because I needed to address the monthly elephant in the room.


He sat on the couch, and I sat in front of him on the coffee table. I had a hard time meeting his eye and kept choking up trying to get the words out.

I decided to be as open and honest as possible.


I told him something wasn't quite right before my period and it was making me feel out of control of my life. It didn't have anything to do with him, and everything to do with something I was battling internally.


My tone was less than stellar during that time and I could no longer hide how extremely depressed I felt exactly three days before my period.


This was partnered with intense migraines I couldn't get rid of and increased water retention that made me gain/lose the same 5 pounds every month.


*goodbye self confidence*


All of this was impacting my mood and sense of self. Nothing seemed to work, no matter how well I ate, how much I exercised, and how disciplined I was in my self care. I felt like I was losing when I was supposedly doing everything right.


Taking Tyler's hand, I told him if I went to the doctor they would try to prescribe anti-depressants, which I did not want to take. I knew I wasn't depressed and shared how I was committed to finding out why this was happening, along with exactly what I needed to do to fix it.


He nodded and wrapped his arms around me in a hug.


*cue waterworks*


Crying into his shoulder, I asked for his patience as I worked on bettering myself for the sake of our life together. I couldn't help thinking that if this was how I was feeling now, how could I ever handle becoming his wife and the mother to his children?


I wanted to create a happy home for my future family and I knew by diving into this work now, I could live as my best self all month long.


And as much as I was doing this for THEM, I was also doing it for myself. I deserved to feel happy and free inside myself no matter what time of the month it was.


I didn't want to be some emotionally out of control, depressed, and super bloated woman (which just makes you more angry). I just wanted to be me. The same happy and calm Laura who showed up at all the other parts of the month.


How long did it take me to fix PMDD?

It took me 18 months to figure out how to fully heal PMDD and I'm here to significantly shorten your learning curve.


I didn't know what I was doing.


I didn't know what would work.


I was guessing and throwing a lot of stones against the wall.


There wasn't many books or any programs out there to help me get there faster. I had to figure it out on my own.


But I did figure it out, because I was determined - just like you are now. And now that I've been PMDD (and PMS) free for nearly five years, I'm so excited to show you how to do this too!
